Everest Beads: Historic Maha Rudra Pooja in Shrawan 2026 and 111 Pandits

15 mins read Published onJun 03, 2026

The month of Shrawan is deeply sacred in the Sanatana Dharma. The sacred month of Shrawan begins from July 30 and ends on August 28 in North India. Whereas, in South and West India, the Shrawan month is expected to begin on August 13 and end on September 10.

On the other hand, in Nepal, Shrawan begins on July 16, 2026, and ends on August 16, 2026, based on the Nepali Calendar. The first Monday of this month is the best time to connect with Lord Shiva.

This year, we at Everest Beads are doing something truly special. We are hosting a historic Maha Rudra Pooja on the first Monday of Shrawan, July 20, 2026. This is not just a ritual. This event is a milestone in our spiritual history. We have brought together 111 Vedic Pandits to perform this ceremony at our own temple, the Rudrakshasheswor Temple in Dingla, Bhojpur. It is the first time in Nepal that such a massive group of Pandits will gather to chant and perform these ancient rituals.

We are holding this in the heart of the forest where authentic Nepali Rudraksha beads grow naturally. This land is special to us as it is where the earth connects directly to the divine energy of these sacred trees.

Our farm in Bhojpur Dingla is filled with powerful spiritual vibration. There is no better time than Shrawan to start your own spiritual journey. Join us in spirit as we honor these traditions in the very birthplace of the Rudraksha.

Why is Shrawan the best time for Transformation?

The Shrawan month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva represents the destroyer of all that is false. The first Monday of Shrawan is one of the most powerful days. It is the day for spiritual purification and receiving divine blessings. It is the time when the energy around us is heightened. Making it perfect for letting go of the burdens we have been carrying.

The current time is referred to as "Kalyug." A dark age filled with decay. But if we change our perspective, we can see it as a "Karma Yug", where our actions have immediate effects. Every honest effort you make is a miracle in the making. You are not a victim of these times. You are the gardener of your own reality, shaping your own life through your choices.

The Shrawan month is very important to let go of the weight of the past. Let go of all the what-ifs that hold you back. Stop blaming yourself for old mistakes. It’s time to shed habits that keep you from growing. By clearing out the old thoughts and feelings, you create space for new opportunities to come into your life.

Wearing a Rudraksha bead or Rudraksha Mala during this month is a beautiful way to stay connected to sacred energy. Rudraksha helps you to carry the essence of Lord Shiva. When you wear a rudraksha or used for meditation, either way it helps you stay focused and calm your mind. It helps to protect your energy. It serves as a reminder to remain grounded and true to yourself.

Maha Rudra Pooja in Bhojpur, Dingla: Our Sacred Land

The Maha Rudra Pooja we are hosting this Shrawan is more than just a ceremony. It takes place in our truly sacred location that holds deep significance for us. In the heart of Arun Valley, lies our farm where all the Rudraksha beads come from.

Our ceremony will be held at the Everest Beads Rudraksha farms in Bhojpur in the beautiful heart of Arun Valley of Nepal. At the center of our farm lies the Rudraksheshwor Temple. A tribute to our beloved late great-grandfather, Tilak Bahadur Gharti Chettri. This temple symbolizes our family's devotion to Lord Shiva and dedication to preserving the sacred traditions that have been passed down through generations.

For us at Everest Beads, this farm is our home and our heritage. Performing the Maha Rudra Pooja here means bringing our prayers back to their roots. It transforms the ritual into a heartfelt homecoming, creating a spiritual energy that is as pure and authentic as the surrounding forest.

Join us in this sacred celebration, where tradition meets nature, and experience the profound connection to Lord Shiva and the ancient wisdom of Rudraksha.
